Sandro Cortez kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Lourenço Quinaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Almiro Setúbal made a huge save. Almiro Setúbal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Júlio Seabra's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Américo Moura in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Almiro Setúbal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adélio Bacelar hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, KINGS FC's Gusmão Junqueira seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gusmão Junqueira the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of KINGS FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gusmão Junqueira had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of KINGS FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sporting Clube Patrício:s goal. Almiro Setúbal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgílio Moita in the 88th minute of play.
