With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horácio Henriques in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Germano Tristão saved KINGS FC from getting behind. Hélder Nogueira made a great header on FC Tó Madeira's corner, it was just that KINGS FC's Germano Tristão managed to reach the ball for a save. After a defensive mix-up in KINGS FC's zone, Horácio Henriques stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After a rather tough play, FC Tó Madeira's Cassiano Vilanova got a free kick in the 42nd minute. When the match had been going on for 45 minutes, KINGS FC's Lourenço Quinaz got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Lucas Dionísio.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Américo Moura in the 51st minute of play forced FC Tó Madeira's goalkeeper Lucas Dionísio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Virgílio Moita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. KINGS FC had played much better football throughout.
