In the 2nd minute, Ruben Estebe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 4th minute MZ Fénix were awarded a corner. Manuel Rego went to the cornerflag to take it. Witomir Faron tried in the 5th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Sandro Santos a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-0. Delfim Vilas Boas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Patrício, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 12th minute, Lázaro Caldas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Delfim Vilas Boas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Israel Patrício in the 14th minute of play. Sandro Santos made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Lázaro Oliveira sent off a good shot on target. MZ Fénix's Delfim Vilas Boas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wanderson Siqueira in the 18th minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Lázaro Oliveira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MZ Fénix fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After 28 played minutes FC Alumiara SD got a freekick which was hit by Witomir Faron. MZ Fénix's Lázaro Oliveira got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sandro Santos made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Lázaro Oliveira sent off a good shot on target. 36 minutes into the match, FC Alumiara SD's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Oliveira came free, but Sandro Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delfim Vilas Boas came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Alumiara SD's Wanderson Siqueira. But to his dismay, Wanderson Siqueira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cassiano Raminhos during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. MZ Fénix's Delfim Vilas Boas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Estebe in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Israel Patrício made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of MZ Fénix booed when FC Alumiara SD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Witomir Faron didn't get a good kick on the ball. MZ Fénix's Lázaro Oliveira got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Delfim Vilas Boas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gencay Şerif, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Oliveira in the 59th minute of play forced FC Alumiara SD's goalkeeper Sandro Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Wanderson Siqueira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Delfim Vilas Boas. The goal made the score 3-2. Sandro Santos came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by MZ Fénix's Lázaro Oliveira. But to his dismay, Lázaro Oliveira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. In the 83rd minute, Manuel Rego got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Lázaro Oliveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lázaro Oliveira struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Sandro Santos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MZ Fénix. Sandro Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Oliveira in the 89th minute of the match.
