After 27 minutes of play, FC Beatriz 08's Gaspar Gago made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Delfim Vilas Boas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Delfim Vilas Boas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of He Yue Feng's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Lázaro Oliveira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abel Meira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Márcio Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delfim Vilas Boas having to interfere. Lázaro Oliveira took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abel Meira. Abel Meira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Lázaro Oliveira struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Abel Meira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MZ Fénix. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After 55 played minutes FC Beatriz 08 got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Estrela. In the 56th minute Lázaro Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abel Meira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when He Yue Feng got free with Delfim Vilas Boas in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lázaro Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. FC Beatriz 08's Abel Meira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Oliveira in the 61st minute of play. In the 79thth minute of the game He Yue Feng who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MZ Fénix's Delfim Vilas Boas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Lázaro Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. The MZ Fénix fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Beatriz 08 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
