In the 3rd minute, Carlos Castelo Branco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sandro Santos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Carlos Castelo Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandro Santos having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Israel Patrício got free with Delfim Vilas Boas in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rubim Jesus kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Delfim Vilas Boas made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Israel Patrício sent off a good shot on target. 12 minutes into the match, Magne Odeen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Delfim Vilas Boas, 1-1. When Lázaro Oliveira came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the MZ Fénix fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lázaro Oliveira couldn't finish the play. Delfim Vilas Boas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gencay Şerif went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 22nd minute Gencay Şerif shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delfim Vilas Boas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, MZ Fénix's goal looked a bit too open when Gencay Şerif came free, but Delfim Vilas Boas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Israel Patrício got free with Delfim Vilas Boas in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Delfim Vilas Boas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wanderson Siqueira, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. When Nuno Cruz fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MZ Fénix's protests and gave Nuno Cruz a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 minutes, Witomir Faron mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Alumiara SD and the MZ Fénix players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC Alumiara SD getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Witomir Faron hit a great ball. Delfim Vilas Boas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gencay Şerif in the 44th minute of the match. MZ Fénix's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Gencay Şerif scored to the left of an out of position Delfim Vilas Boas, making the score, 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lázaro Oliveira made a kick off. FC Alumiara SD's Israel Patrício got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magne Odeen in the 59th minute of play forced MZ Fénix's goalkeeper Delfim Vilas Boas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delfim Vilas Boas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gencay Şerif in the 61st minute of play. A collision led to FC Alumiara SD getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Eustaquio Gil hit a great ball. Sandro Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lázaro Oliveira in the 63rd minute of play. Witomir Faron got his second yellow card in the match during the 64th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Witomir Faron kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Dobrica Taškov notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of MZ Fénix's Delfim Vilas Boas. Delfim Vilas Boas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 73 played minutes FC Alumiara SD got a freekick which was hit by Magne Odeen. 75 minutes into the game, Cassiano Raminhos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MZ Fénix's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Alumiara SD the free kick. In the 76th match minute, MZ Fénix was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cassiano Raminhos to maneuver through the defense. Sandro Santos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lázaro Oliveira in the 80th minute. With a little luck, FC Alumiara SD's Sandro Santos got control of the ball when Lázaro Oliveira tried to sneak it across the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, Lázaro Oliveira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sandro Santos. Lázaro Oliveira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-2. A collision led to FC Alumiara SD getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Dobrica Taškov hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Alumiara SD had won after a very even match.
