Spectators: 175 (Terracing: 132, Seating: 40, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Reinaldo Calado kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinaldo Calado in the 4th minute of play forced SITIO CITY's goalkeeper Manuel Liberato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th match minute, Ponte do Carro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adelino Patrício to maneuver through the defense. 6 minutes into the match, Ponte do Carro's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Lobo came free, but Jorge Valério reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute of the match SITIO CITY got a corner. Ponte do Carro's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Armindo Carvalhal ran over to the corner to take the kick. With his leg Manuel Liberato managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Ponte do Carro's Adelino Patrício fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reinaldo Calado got free with Manuel Liberato in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luís Carvalho in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Valério saved Ponte do Carro from getting behind. After 43 played minutes Ponte do Carro got a freekick which was hit by Adelino Patrício. In the 45th minute, Ponte do Carro's Altino Guerreiro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Manuel Liberato. Manuel Liberato yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Luís Carvalho made a kick off. Manuel Liberato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Humberto Mascarenhas in the 52nd minute of the match. Manuel Liberato didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Reinaldo Calado went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Luís Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Jorge Valério tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reinaldo Calado hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 63 minutes in the game, Ricardo Lobo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Jorge Valério having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Reinaldo Calado notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of SITIO CITY's Manuel Liberato. Manuel Liberato was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jorge Valério took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luís Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When SITIO CITY's Luís Carvalho in 82 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Jorge Valério guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Manuel Liberato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelino Patrício in the 84th minute of the match. SITIO CITY's Heitor Fonseca quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Noel Pacheco, made in the 85th minute of the game. Manuel Liberato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Patrício in the 92nd minute of play. Ponte do Carro's Altino Guerreiro pulled a muscle in his leg after 92 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Tarcísio Mesquita's late challenge caught a Ponte do Carro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tarcísio Mesquita helped the player get up and apologised. After 94 played minutes SITIO CITY got a freekick which was hit by Tarcísio Mesquita. Heitor Fonseca lost his temper 97 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 99th minute, Cristóvão Caetano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manuel Liberato was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the SITIO CITY players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ponte do Carro.
