The referee ignored Tasso FC's protests and gave Sebastián Coates a yellow card for diving instead. Sebastián Coates kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After 5 played minutes Terceirense F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Zarco Sarmento. Chu Tasso struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Robert Enke didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tasso FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chu Tasso in the 12th minute of play forced Terceirense F.C.'s goalkeeper Robert Enke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robert Enke stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chu Tasso's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 21stth minute of the game Chu Tasso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Terceirense F.C.'s Robert Enke was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Távora in the 26th minute of play forced Tasso FC's goalkeeper Monte Lobato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Terceirense F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Chu Tasso came free, but Robert Enke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute, Valter Lucena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chu Tasso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Robert Enke having to make a save. Monte Lobato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Távora in the 32nd minute of play. Terceirense F.C. were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Tasso FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Armando Parente took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Armando Parente got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Monte Lobato quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Tasso FC's Severiano Torcato got a free kick in the 40th minute. The supporters of Terceirense F.C. booed when Tasso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Távora in the 45th minute of play forced Tasso FC's goalkeeper Monte Lobato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chu Tasso was the one to do the kick off. Anton Ekblom kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Tasso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Távora came free, but Monte Lobato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Chu Tasso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 65 minutes, Gabriel Távora managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Terceirense F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Távora was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Terceirense F.C.'s Anselmo Baldaia was substituted for Gabriel Távora. 77 minutes into the match, Tasso FC's goalkeeper Monte Lobato had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anselmo Baldaia. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Chu Tasso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tasso FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Chu Tasso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robert Enke breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tasso FC's Brazilio Tasso was substituted for Santos Benet. Anselmo Baldaia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Monte Lobato having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Tasso FC's zone, Anselmo Baldaia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Monte Lobato came out of the goal and Anselmo Baldaia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 87 played minutes Terceirense F.C. got a freekick which was hit by 叶烨桑. In the 89th minute, Richard Dawkins ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Robert Enke was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Baldaia in the 93rd minute of play forced Tasso FC's goalkeeper Monte Lobato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute Richard Dawkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Enke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
