Kevin Lages could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Nicolas Vilalobos made a huge save. When Francisco Durães fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Exército Português's protests and gave Francisco Durães a yellow card for diving instead. Francisco Durães kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Artur Azevedo scored 1-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Laurențiu Gaciu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th minute, Artur Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Laurențiu Gaciu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermes Amaro in the 27th minute of play. In the 27th match minute, Loures was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isidro Diegues to maneuver through the defense. João Raposo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, Loures's goal looked a bit too open when Cris Ronaldo came free, but Nicolas Vilalobos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Loures's goalkeeper Nicolas Vilalobos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kevin Lages. With an all-out effort, Exército Português's Nicolas Vilalobos threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cris Ronaldo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Nicolas Vilalobos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cris Ronaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Loures's Nicolas Vilalobos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Loures from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Loures defense, Kevin Lages kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nicolas Vilalobos. The Loures fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nicolas Vilalobos should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Loures's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kevin Lages was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. After 86 minutes of play, Exército Português's Cris Ronaldo made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicolas Vilalobos was left in no man's land by his defense there! 90 minutes into the match, Kevin Lages notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Loures's Nicolas Vilalobos. Nicolas Vilalobos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Exército Português fans cheered their team off the field, for while Loures had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
