The referee ignored AMLUCHO's protests and gave Olívio Sousa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute Reinaldo Liberato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Madruga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, AMLUCHO's Hugo Sobral got a free kick in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinaldo Liberato in the 10th minute of play forced FC M4RM3L4D45 D3 C1M4's goalkeeper José Madruga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Olavo Vidigal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Madruga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinaldo Liberato, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Palmiro Moniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Caeiro in the 17th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, André Conde cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Palmiro Moniz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Edgar Caeiro took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Palmiro Moniz to make any attempt to save it. In the 28th minute, FC M4RM3L4D45 D3 C1M4's Júlio Mafra seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Júlio Mafra the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FC M4RM3L4D45 D3 C1M4 protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Júlio Mafra had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Reinaldo Liberato took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Madruga. José Madruga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. AMLUCHO's Zarco Vaz got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adélio Santos charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adélio Santos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 34th match minute, FC M4RM3L4D45 D3 C1M4 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adélio Santos to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Sobral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Madruga having to interfere. José Madruga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinaldo Liberato, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. José Madruga came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by AMLUCHO's Reinaldo Liberato. But to his dismay, Reinaldo Liberato quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 46th minute, Reinaldo Liberato left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AMLUCHO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. The FC M4RM3L4D45 D3 C1M4 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. AMLUCHO were winning 2-3.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgar Caeiro was the one to do the kick off. When Edgar Caeiro came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the FC M4RM3L4D45 D3 C1M4 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Caeiro couldn't finish the play. 57 minutes into the game, Olavo Vidigal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC M4RM3L4D45 D3 C1M4's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AMLUCHO the free kick. In the 57th match minute, FC M4RM3L4D45 D3 C1M4 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olavo Vidigal to maneuver through the defense. If Hugo Sobral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 65th minute Hugo Sobral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Madruga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. José Madruga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Sobral in the 84th minute. Edgar Caeiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Palmiro Moniz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgar Caeiro ran back to his position shaking his head. Palmiro Moniz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Caeiro in the 93rd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, AMLUCHO's goal looked a bit too open when Adélio Santos came free, but Palmiro Moniz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
