Spectators: 165 (Terracing: 124, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Telmo Miguéis started the match with the kick off. Vasco Ribas kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 6th match minute, GD JULIO DINIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Óscar Júdice to maneuver through the defense. After 7 played minutes GD JULIO DINIS got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Sales. Norberto Santana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Tarcísio Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filipe Semedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telmo Miguéis, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute Delta FS were awarded a corner. Vasco Ribas went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martinho Rios in the 21st minute of play forced Delta FS's goalkeeper Tarcísio Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Delta FS's Tarcísio Leite played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inácio Regalado in the 24th minute of play. In the 26th minute, one of GD JULIO DINIS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for GD JULIO DINIS. Filipe Semedo had in the 29thth minute some difficulties stopping Vasco Ribas's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 36th minute, Ivan Leitão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Telmo Miguéis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Filipe Semedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulo Aleixo made a kick off. A collision led to GD JULIO DINIS getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Inácio Regalado hit a great ball. In the 60thth minute of the game Gregório Carvalhal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Delta FS's Tarcísio Leite was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Filipe Semedo managed to avoid a goal in the 61stth minute, when Delta FS's Telmo Miguéis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 75 played minutes Delta FS got a freekick which was hit by Andaka Cueto. In the 76th minute, Nicolas Raposo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in GD JULIO DINIS's zone, Ivan Leitão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filipe Semedo came out of the goal and Ivan Leitão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miguel Sales kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Gregório Carvalhal kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The Delta FS players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
