The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antero Cardoso helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to TAVIRA FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Antero Cardoso hit a great ball. The TAVIRA FC fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when TAVIRA FC's Alfonso Frisco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 16 minutes into the match, MEXACOMX's goal looked a bit too open when Isac Leme came free, but Delfim Brás reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of MEXACOMX booed when TAVIRA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antero Cardoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mariano Faria to strike the kick off in the second half.
