The supporters of VB-Team booed when QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. 董晨川 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Traian Hăvârneanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carlos Ornelas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luís Caeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 21st match minute, VB-Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philibert Lamouroux to maneuver through the defense. Miroslav Klose scored 2-0 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osvaldo Vilaverde, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 27th minute, 任朗潮 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miroslav Klose could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Osvaldo Vilaverde made a huge save. Miroslav Klose received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Osvaldo Vilaverde came out and tried to block the shot, but Miroslav Klose slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 29th minute. Carlos Ornelas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jaime Corte-Real went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, VB-Team's Leandro Barcelos got a free kick in the 35th minute. If Miroslav Klose had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miroslav Klose in the 45th minute of play forced VB-Team's goalkeeper Osvaldo Vilaverde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Traian Hăvârneanu made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. got a corner. VB-Team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gigel Durbac ran over to the corner to take the kick. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Gigel Durbac was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Osvaldo Vilaverde in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 57 minutes VB-Team's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gigel Durbac who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in José Guimarães heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After a rather tough play, VB-Team's Leandro Barcelos got a free kick in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the match, QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Miroslav Klose sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Osvaldo Vilaverde narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 62ndth minute of the game Miroslav Klose who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VB-Team's Osvaldo Vilaverde was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 63 minutes into the game, one of VB-Team:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Osvaldo Vilaverde breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Traian Hăvârneanu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-2 in the 98th playminute. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
