Gentil Miranda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Melo, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. In the 12th minute Palmiro Picasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Jordão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 played minutes B.Z. F.C. got a freekick which was hit by John Mason. After some careless play in the B.Z. F.C. defense, Palmiro Picasso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of André Jordão. The B.Z. F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that André Jordão should have stopped the shot. Palmiro Picasso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in B.Z. F.C.'s zone, Palmiro Picasso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Jordão came out of the goal and Palmiro Picasso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd minute Edinho Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Jordão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. André Jordão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Palmiro Picasso's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. André Jordão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Palmiro Picasso in the 39th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After 50 played minutes Pau Nas Canelas got a freekick which was hit by Oséas Moraes. With a little luck, B.Z. F.C.'s André Jordão got control of the ball when Palmiro Picasso tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Palmiro Picasso in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Jordão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. André Jordão made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Palmiro Picasso sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in B.Z. F.C.'s zone, Palmiro Picasso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Jordão came out of the goal and Palmiro Picasso tried to chip the ball over his head. Palmiro Picassos short, quick shot in the 67thth minute got André Jordão to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 69 minutes, Palmiro Picasso made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. B.Z. F.C.'s André Jordão tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 71st match minute, B.Z. F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Melo to maneuver through the defense. In the 75th minute, Palmiro Picasso reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of André Jordão. The goal made the score 0-3. Palmiro Picasso's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, André Jordão skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 82 minutes of play, Pau Nas Canelas's Palmiro Picasso made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. André Jordão was left in no man's land by his defense there!
