One of Benficajuvestars:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Valadas:s goal. The referee gave Valadas a penalty, 13 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Zekeriya Ülgener, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Benficajuvestars's Viriato Amaro. 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, Margrímur Ásmundsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Viriato Amaro. Benficajuvestars's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Margrímur Ásmundsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Viriato Amaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Lameiras in the 19th minute of play. Viriato Amaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilson Castelo Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Valadas's Honorato Lameiras in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Benficajuvestars's goalie prevented a goal. After 34 minutes of play, Valadas's Honorato Lameiras made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Viriato Amaro was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Benficajuvestars defense, Honorato Lameiras kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Viriato Amaro. The Benficajuvestars fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Viriato Amaro should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Benficajuvestars getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Paulo Antas hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Simão França stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Valadas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilson Castelo Branco to maneuver through the defense. Viriato Amaro came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Valadas's Honorato Lameiras. But to his dismay, Honorato Lameiras quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Viriato Amaro made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Honorato Lameiras sent off a good shot on target. 66 minutes into the match, Benficajuvestars's goalkeeper Viriato Amaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Honorato Lameiras. Zekeriya Ülgener sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benficajuvestars's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Honorato Lameiras scored to the left of an out of position Viriato Amaro, making the score, 0-7. Viriato Amaro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Honorato Lameiras showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-8 in the 77 minute of play. In the 81st match minute, Valadas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zekeriya Ülgener to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute Zekeriya Ülgener shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viriato Amaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the game, Valadas's Honorato Lameiras nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Viriato Amaro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. In the 97th match minute, Valadas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Margrímur Ásmundsson to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Valadas could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Benficajuvestars throughout the match.
