Garanhão do SUL's Heitor Peseiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Šeško in the 13th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Enzo Millot in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Heitor Peseiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Heitor Peseiro came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by GD Almargense's Enzo Millot. But to his dismay, Enzo Millot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When GD Almargense's Enzo Millot in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Garanhão do SUL's goalie prevented a goal. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Garanhão do SUL's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Conor Bradley was slow to take the kick. During this time GD Almargense's players had a chance to rest. Conor Bradley made a great header on GD Almargense's corner, it was just that Garanhão do SUL's Heitor Peseiro managed to reach the ball for a save. Alexandre Vale could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Abílio Aveiro made a huge save. In the 37th match minute, Garanhão do SUL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Roriz to maneuver through the defense. Heitor Peseiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Šeško in the 41st minute of the match.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. André Roriz was the one to do the kick off. Tarcísio Palha hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. With his leg Heitor Peseiro managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when GD Almargense's Enzo Millot fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Moussa N'Diaye had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. GD Almargense's Vitor Roque was substituted for Moussa N'Diaye. In the 58th match minute, GD Almargense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moussa N'Diaye to maneuver through the defense. 59 minutes into the game, Igor Matanović was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GD Almargense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Garanhão do SUL the free kick. In the 60th match minute, GD Almargense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Matanović to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Garanhão do SUL's Heitor Peseiro got control of the ball when Igor Matanović tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Igor Matanović managed to get in a good position for a shot. GD Almargense's supporters rose to their feet, but Igor Matanović was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Heitor Peseiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Garanhão do SUL's Elias Garikoitz was substituted for Albano Leizarraga. Garanhão do SUL's Obafemi Fabiani was substituted for Alexandre Vale. After having played for 69 minutes, Vitor Roque managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GD Almargense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vitor Roque was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Garanhão do SUL fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! 72 minutes into the match, Filipe Valido had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Heitor Peseiro. Garanhão do SUL's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filipe Valido was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Thanks to some nice moves Igor Matanović could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Heitor Peseiro however easily saved by the left post. In the 78th minute Vitor Roque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Heitor Peseiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Heitor Peseiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Matanović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abílio Aveiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Obafemi Fabiani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute, Filipe Valido hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. António Gama fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abílio Aveiro having to interfere. Heitor Peseiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Igor Matanović went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Vitor Roque received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Heitor Peseiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Vitor Roque slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 92nd minute. Arnau Martínez's late challenge caught a Garanhão do SUL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnau Martínez helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Garanhão do SUL booed when GD Almargense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnau Martínez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vitor Roque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. GD Almargense played a much better game than Garanhão do SUL and deserved their victory. The Garanhão do SUL players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
