The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. GD Almargense's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Moussa N'Diaye in the 4th minute. 6 minutes into the match, Valadas's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Šeško came free, but Fernanco Muslera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolas Amaro got free with Fernanco Muslera in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Abílio Aveiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zekeriya Ülgener, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zekeriya Ülgener blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Abílio Aveiro having to make a save. Valadas's Honorato Lameiras got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Benjamin Šeško reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fernanco Muslera. The goal made the score 1-0. After a rather tough play, Valadas's Zekeriya Ülgener got a free kick in the 21st minute. Enzo Millot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernanco Muslera having to interfere. Fernanco Muslera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Millot in the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind GD Almargense's goalkeeper Abílio Aveiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 30 played minutes Valadas got a freekick which was hit by Iustin Piţurcă. Abílio Aveiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Lameiras in the 31st minute of play. A hard shot 33 in the game by Alejo Veliz from a close distance when the talented Fernanco Muslera managed to make a qualified save. Valadas's players were relieved. Fernanco Muslera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Šeško in the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorato Lameiras in the 36th minute of play forced GD Almargense's goalkeeper Abílio Aveiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GD Almargense's Benjamin Šeško was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 39th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 45th minute of the match, Enzo Millot tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fernanco Muslera saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Benjamin Šeško made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Valadas's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Millot came free, but Fernanco Muslera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 53 minutes into the match, Alejo Veliz notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Valadas's Fernanco Muslera. Fernanco Muslera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 56 minutes into the match, Valadas's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Kristiansen came free, but Fernanco Muslera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GD Almargense made a substitution. Vitor Roque replaced Miguel Magalhães. GD Almargense's Ricardo Pepi was substituted for Alejo Veliz. In the 69th minute, Luciano Rodríguez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fernanco Muslera was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 72nd minute of the match Nicolas Amaro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fernanco Muslera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Zekeriya Ülgener recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luciano Rodríguez in the 77th minute of play forced Valadas's goalkeeper Fernanco Muslera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GD Almargense's Abílio Aveiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorato Lameiras in the 79th minute of play. The Valadas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernanco Muslera should have stopped the shot. Fernanco Muslera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Pepi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee ended the match the GD Almargense players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
