Spectators: 165 (Terracing: 124, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Leonel Freitas kicked off to start the match. In the 2nd minute, Gervásio Pinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in SC Freiburg 09's zone, Manuel Valadão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafim Salvado came out of the goal and Manuel Valadão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 4 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Artur Fidalgo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serafim Salvado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Leonel Freitas scored to the left of an out of position Heitor Teixeira, making the score, 1-0. After 13 minutes, Elias Rocha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Freiburg 09 and the Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th minute, Cristiano Pegado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serafim Salvado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gastão Cesário, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. SC Freiburg 09's Serafim Salvado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gastão Cesário in the 19th minute of play. After 20 minutes of play, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Gastão Cesário made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Serafim Salvado was left in no man's land by his defense there! 24 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Freitas came free, but Heitor Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Gastão Cesário had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Serafim Salvado. SC Freiburg 09's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gastão Cesário was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. 31 minutes into the game, Gastão Cesário cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Serafim Salvado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Gastão Cesário sped through SC Freiburg 09's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Serafim Salvado. Elias Rocha hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the match, Silvano Morais had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Serafim Salvado. SC Freiburg 09's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvano Morais was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. A collision led to SC Freiburg 09 getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Cristiano Pegado hit a great ball. 45 minutes into the match, SC Freiburg 09's Elias Rocha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Heitor Teixeira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Elias Rocha was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 47 minutes had been played. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvano Morais made a kick off. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Silvano Morais in the 52nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Serafim Salvado was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for SC Freiburg 09 through an amazing save. 54 minutes into the game, Gervásio Pinto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SC Freiburg 09's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. the free kick. Manuel Valadão came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Serafim Salvado could save by the left post. A hard shot 57 in the game by Silvano Morais from a close distance when the talented Serafim Salvado managed to make a qualified save. SC Freiburg 09's players were relieved. Silvano Moraiss short, quick shot in the 57thth minute got Serafim Salvado to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Zacarias Monsanto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Gastão Cesário made a precise shot to the right of Serafim Salvado. SC Freiburg 09's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. Gastão Cesário's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Serafim Salvado skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Gastão Cesário had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serafim Salvado came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Gastão Cesário. But to his dismay, Gastão Cesário quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. In the 75th play minute Gastão Cesário came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Serafim Salvado. 1-8. Serafim Salvado was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Silvano Morais showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-9 in the 78 minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Gastão Cesário nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Serafim Salvado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-10. Joaquim Brandão charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joaquim Brandão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
