Besim Yersel started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvano Morais in the 4th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Neuer saved KINDERUZ from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Besim Yersel in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hamilton Poças prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 7th minute KINDERUZ were awarded a corner. Bruno Fernandes went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Bruno Fernandes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s Hamilton Poças did a great save. Silvano Morais kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Hamilton Poças showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Valério in the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th minute KINDERUZ were awarded a corner. Bruno Fernandes went to the cornerflag to take it. Rui Morais tried in the game's 13th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Hamilton Poças. An annoying self made goal, 1-0. After 15 minutes, Bruno Fernandes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KINDERUZ and the Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bruno Fernandes hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 18th match minute, Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gastão Cesário to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Besim Yersel fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After having played for 25 minutes, Gregório Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gregório Pereira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Silvano Morais notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of KINDERUZ's Manuel Neuer. Manuel Neuer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Manuel Neuer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jairo Anjos in the 37th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, KINDERUZ's Paulo Valério got a free kick in the 37th minute. The audience was convinced that Silvano Morais's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Neuer was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. When António Bandeira fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KINDERUZ's protests and gave António Bandeira a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, one of KINDERUZ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for KINDERUZ. KINDERUZ:s Manuel Neuer showed great skill when he stopped Gastão Cesário:s penalty. Gastão Cesário scored 1-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manuel Neuer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

In the 53rd minute Manuel Valadão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Neuer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Valério charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paulo Valério the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Paulo Valério hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Manuel Valadão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Manuel Neuer made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 89 minutes, Manuel Neuer successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 91st minute, one of Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Sporting Clube V.R.S.A.. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sporting Clube V.R.S.A. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for KINDERUZ.
