Spectators: 196 (Terracing: 148, Seating: 45, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ross Schwein started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes of play, Espen Steelers's Andy Schmid made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Quirino Courtemanche was left in no man's land by his defense there! Quirino Courtemanche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andy Schmid, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Fabian Schär took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Quirino Courtemanche to make any attempt to save it. Albert Einstein blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Quirino Courtemanche having to make a save. SalentoUnited's Quirino Courtemanche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andy Schmid in the 18th minute of play. Quirino Courtemanche came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Espen Steelers's Andy Schmid. But to his dismay, Andy Schmid quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. The supporters of SalentoUnited booed when Espen Steelers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giancarlo Weissmuller didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute of the match Morten Hjulmand sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nikola Portner skillfully saved the ball. Espen Steelers's Henri Schwersenz got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Simon Walpert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Quirino Courtemanche stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Salomone Weber's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Fabian Schär dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Quirino Courtemanche, 6-0. SalentoUnited's Quirino Courtemanche played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Einstein in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Salomone Weber reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Quirino Courtemanche. The goal made the score 7-0. 8-0 became the score in the 44th minute when Andy Schmid elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Andy Schmid to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Giancarlo Weissmuller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quirino Courtemanche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabian Schär took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Quirino Courtemanche. Quirino Courtemanche dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andy Schmid in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Quirino Courtemanche prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Espen Steelers made a substitution. Andres Ambühl replaced Fabian Schär. After 67 played minutes SalentoUnited got a freekick which was hit by Simon Walpert. Espen Steelers's Berthold Boller was substituted for Hassan Widmer. Espen Steelers made a substitution. Gaetano Rothstein replaced Mauro Aebi. Simon Walpert hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. When Espen Steelers's Andy Schmid in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SalentoUnited's goalie prevented a goal. 73 minutes into the game, Espen Steelers's Giancarlo Weissmuller nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Quirino Courtemanche made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 13-0. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 14-0 when Andy Schmid sped through SalentoUnited's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Quirino Courtemanche. After having played for 80 minutes, Andres Ambühl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Espen Steelers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andres Ambühl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the SalentoUnited defense, Giancarlo Weissmuller kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Quirino Courtemanche. The SalentoUnited fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Quirino Courtemanche should have stopped the shot. 85 minutes into the match, Andres Ambühl had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Quirino Courtemanche. SalentoUnited's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andres Ambühl was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 16-0. When Espen Steelers's Andy Schmid in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SalentoUnited's goalie prevented a goal. Albert Einstein fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quirino Courtemanche having to interfere. Quirino Courtemanche showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salomone Weber in the 93rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, SalentoUnited's Dagobert Emmenegger got a free kick in the 95th minute. Espen Steelers's Albert Einstein couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 96th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SalentoUnited. Quirino Courtemanche came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Espen Steelers's Andy Schmid. But to his dismay, Andy Schmid quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 17-0. There was no doubt that Espen Steelers were the better team. Espen Steelers's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
