Spectators: 170 (Terracing: 128, Seating: 39, VIP seats: 3) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Francis Aberle took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jack Saunders scored 0-1 in the 2nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Walter Fransson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lukas Schallberger charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lukas Schallberger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 6 played minutes Fire Devils got a freekick which was hit by Lukas Schallberger. Walter Fransson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Lara in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Edmondo Gulli was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Lugano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fire Devils the free kick. Edmondo Gulli hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fred Lara in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walter Fransson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fire Devils's Walter Fransson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fred Lara in the 20th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fred Lara in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walter Fransson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fred Lara in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walter Fransson saved Fire Devils from getting behind. Jack Saunders was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 27 minutes into the match, Fire Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Lara came free, but Walter Fransson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Fred Lara put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Walter Fransson. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fred Lara in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walter Fransson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The FC Lugano fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when FC Lugano's Fred Lara looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Walter Fransson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Lara, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. When Fred Lara came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the FC Lugano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fred Lara couldn't finish the play. Jakub Waselenczuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fred Lara in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walter Fransson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Fred Lara made the kick off in the second half. Jakub Waselenczuk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When FC Lugano's Fred Lara in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fire Devils's goalie prevented a goal. Walter Fransson had great luck who in the 59thth minute grab hold of the ball when Fred Lara from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Fred Lara might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Walter Fransson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fred Lara ran back to his position shaking his head. Fred Lara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Walter Fransson made a huge save. Fred Lara's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Walter Fransson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Fred Lara blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Walter Fransson having to make a save. In the 68th of the match, Fred Lara tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Walter Fransson got in the way and made a wonderful save. Walter Fransson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Klas Tingelholm in the 69th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Fred Lara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walter Fransson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. A collision led to FC Lugano getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Nereo Precioso hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fred Lara in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walter Fransson saved Fire Devils from getting behind. FC Lugano were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after Fire Devils's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zhao Le Sen took the corner. After taking down the ball on FC Lugano's corner Zhao Le Sen fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Walter Fransson quite easily take care of the ball. Fred Lara's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Walter Fransson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 82nd minute, Fred Lara reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Walter Fransson. The goal made the score 0-7. Fire Devils's Walter Fransson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Klas Tingelholm in the 86th minute of play. Fred Lara in the 94thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Walter Fransson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Fire Devils getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Denis Lambrozzi hit a great ball. 96 minutes into the match, Fire Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Zhao Le Sen came free, but Walter Fransson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Lugano played a much better game than Fire Devils and deserved their victory. The Fire Devils players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
