In the 20thth minute of the game Fred Lara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but B68 Toftir's Giorgi Mamardashvili was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Giorgi Mamardashvili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jack Saunders, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 21st minute, FC Lugano's Jack Saunders ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Giorgi Mamardashvili. Giorgi Mamardashvili yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. A hard shot 24 in the game by Fred Lara from a close distance when the talented Giorgi Mamardashvili managed to make a qualified save. B68 Toftir's players were relieved. After 25 minutes B68 Toftir's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cui Cheng Liang who took care of the corner kick. FC Lugano's Cui Cheng Liang was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Giorgi Mamardashvili in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a rather tough play, B68 Toftir's Dimitri Faber got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 34th minute, Edmondo Gulli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 35 played minutes FC Lugano got a freekick which was hit by Zhao Le Sen. Giorgi Mamardashvili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, FC Lugano's Giorgi Mamardashvili threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jack Saunders, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. FC Lugano were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after B68 Toftir's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cui Cheng Liang took the corner. Cui Cheng Liang made a great header on FC Lugano's corner, it was just that B68 Toftir's Giorgi Mamardashvili managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 43rdth minute of the game Romero Widenmeier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Lugano's La Para was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Giorgi Mamardashvili was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jack Saunders fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giorgi Mamardashvili having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Jakub Waselenczuk notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of B68 Toftir's Giorgi Mamardashvili. Giorgi Mamardashvili was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Romero Widenmeier charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Romero Widenmeier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Romero Widenmeier kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. FC Lugano's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cui Cheng Liang in the 92nd minute. Fred Lara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Giorgi Mamardashvili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicoló Barella hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. FC Lugano walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
