When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Rainier Salaar put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Walter Fransson. After 42 minutes, Thaddäus Striner mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Fire Devils and the Ämmer Sportfreaks players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 42nd minute, one of Fire Devils:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fire Devils. Fire Devils:s Walter Fransson showed great skill when he stopped Gregory Dupasquier:s penalty. In the 44th minute of the match Moritz Flück shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Walter Fransson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With his leg Walter Fransson managed to avoid a goal in the 46thth minute, when Ämmer Sportfreaks's Rainier Salaar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fire Devils's Walter Fransson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harley Grossi in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Francis Aberle made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Rainier Salaar put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Walter Fransson. Walter Fransson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rainier Salaar in the 62nd minute of the match. Ämmer Sportfreaks's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gregory Dupasquier in the 64th minute. The Ämmer Sportfreaks fans' excitement grew in the 66th match minute when Ämmer Sportfreaks's Rainier Salaar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Danny Trüssel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Loris Hellmüller managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fire Devils's supporters rose to their feet, but Loris Hellmüller was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eike Pollastrini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 72 minutes into the match, Fire Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Harley Grossi came free, but Walter Fransson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rainier Salaar in the 74th minute of play forced Fire Devils's goalkeeper Walter Fransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rainier Salaar in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walter Fransson saved Fire Devils from getting behind. 85 minutes into the match, Rainier Salaar notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Fire Devils's Walter Fransson. Walter Fransson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 88 minutes of play, Ämmer Sportfreaks's Danny Trüssel made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Walter Fransson was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 92nd match minute, Fire Devils was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cillian Zellweger to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 93 minutes, Rainier Salaar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ämmer Sportfreaks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rainier Salaar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 96 minutes into the game, Ämmer Sportfreaks's Harley Grossi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Walter Fransson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ämmer Sportfreaks had won after a very even match.
