In the 9th minute Yusuf Ziya Cerit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but eAntonio Jetté saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Yusuf Ziya Cerit ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. eAntonio Jetté was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jack Saunders got free with eAntonio Jetté in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 13 minutes into the match, Hemmersbacher SV's goalkeeper eAntonio Jetté had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jack Saunders. eAntonio Jetté took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fred Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Hemmersbacher SV's goal looked a bit too open when Yusuf Ziya Cerit came free, but eAntonio Jetté reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stef De Maria kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. With a little luck, Hemmersbacher SV's eAntonio Jetté got control of the ball when Jack Saunders tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fred Lara in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck eAntonio Jetté prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A hard shot 22 in the game by Jack Saunders from a close distance when the talented eAntonio Jetté managed to make a qualified save. Hemmersbacher SV's players were relieved. With his leg eAntonio Jetté managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when FC Lugano's Nereo Precioso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 25 minutes into the match, Hemmersbacher SV's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Lara came free, but eAntonio Jetté reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 29 played minutes FC Lugano got a freekick which was hit by Fred Lara. The audience was convinced that Fred Lara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but eAntonio Jetté was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. eAntonio Jetté showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred Lara in the 37th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jack Saunders got free with eAntonio Jetté in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jack Saunders received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. eAntonio Jetté came out and tried to block the shot, but Jack Saunders slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 43rd minute. Rupert Schreiber lost his temper 48 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hemmersbacher SV! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fred Lara was the one to do the kick off. eAntonio Jetté made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Lara in the 61st minute of play. In the 65th minute, Fred Lara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. eAntonio Jetté was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. FC Lugano's Wincenty Kochowski was substituted for Igor Linares. When the match clock showed 70 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Fred Lara sped through Hemmersbacher SV's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of eAntonio Jetté. In the 76thth minute of the game Klas Tingelholm who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hemmersbacher SV's eAntonio Jetté was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. eAntonio Jetté showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yusuf Ziya Cerit, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fred Lara in the 85th minute of play forced Hemmersbacher SV's goalkeeper eAntonio Jetté to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th match minute, FC Lugano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zhao Le Sen to maneuver through the defense.
