In the 38th minute Johnny Raiola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michele Rieger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 39 played minutes Tarada got a freekick which was hit by Deniz Egger. Michele Rieger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johnny Raiola in the 44th minute of play. After 46 minutes Axenstein's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Olivier Weibel who took care of the corner kick. At last the ball reached Geraud Mazza at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Axenstein. 0-2. The Axenstein players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tarada were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Isidor Bizier made the kick off in the second half. Tarada's Basilius Ringeli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidor Bizier in the 55th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Axenstein's goalkeeper Michele Rieger had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Johnny Raiola. Basilius Ringeli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isidor Bizier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michele Rieger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Geraud Mazza's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tarada eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
