The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Gerd Veskis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerd Veskis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aivar Veiderma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julius Vallik, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Karupargi Kommionud's Gael Kirac proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Karupargi Kommionud from getting a goal against them. Aidu Metskonna Pöörased were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Karupargi Kommionud's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Einar Paukson took the corner. In the 22nd minute, Olavi Verte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karupargi Kommionud's attentive Olavi Verte managed to snatch the ball when Adolf Kartau made a throw-in in the 35th minute of the game. Kaimo Noobel charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kaimo Noobel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 36th minute, Kaimo Noobel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st match minute, Karupargi Kommionud was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janari Valdre to maneuver through the defense. When Kaimo Noobel came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Aidu Metskonna Pöörased fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kaimo Noobel couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julius Vallik was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ago Rammo during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Karupargi Kommionud's Ago Rammo got a free kick in the 51st minute. Julius Vallik received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Aivar Veiderma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ago Rammo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 70 minutes had been played. A collision led to Karupargi Kommionud getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Ago Rammo hit a great ball. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Olavi Verte was slow to take the kick. During this time Karupargi Kommionud's players had a chance to rest. Karupargi Kommionud's Ergo Ande was substituted for Janari Valdre. In the 78th minute, Roland Paulus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute of the match Konrad Laur sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gael Kirac skillfully saved the ball. Aivar Veiderma was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Maarek Viigipuu came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Karupargi Kommionud fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maarek Viigipuu couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Julius Vallik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aivar Veiderma was relentless in the 97th minute of the game. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Karupargi Kommionud walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
