After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Bruno Vilberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vila's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Vilberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jüri Alango breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jüri Alango showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Vilberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Viplala's zone, Bruno Vilberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jüri Alango came out of the goal and Bruno Vilberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 8 minutes into the game, Vila's Bruno Vilberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jüri Alango made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Bruno Vilberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Asso Maasik made in the 15th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Vila's Aare Hovi. Tauno Veevo struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Mihkel Ülipikk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Viplala. After a rather tough play, FC Viplala's Robert Mäidu got a free kick in the 19th minute. After 20 played minutes FC Viplala got a freekick which was hit by Jürgen Õunpuu. In the 22nd minute of the match Adolf Nuume shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jüri Alango showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Bruno Vilberg sped through FC Viplala's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jüri Alango. The throw-in from Asso Maasik in the 33rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Vila's Eero Loorits. Vila were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after FC Viplala's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Adolf Nuume took the corner. Evert Maarjamaa lost his temper 42 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 43rd minute, Evert Maarjamaa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruno Vilberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bruno Vilberg to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, FC Viplala's goal looked a bit too open when Bruno Vilberg came free, but Jüri Alango reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Vilberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to FC Viplala getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Asso Maasik hit a great ball. A nice corner shot did that Adolf Nuume got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jüri Alango quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 85 played minutes FC Viplala got a freekick which was hit by Osvald Kevade. If Bruno Vilberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Lembit Nurmela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vila's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
