Vila's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Vilberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Allan Jomm breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bruno Vilberg struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Allan Jomm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vila. Allan Jomm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Vilberg in the 8th minute of play. Mart Poom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taavet Rannik in the 11th minute of play. Lembit Nurmela took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Allan Jomm. Allan Jomm dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nestor Urbieta got free with Mart Poom in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Taavet Rannik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mart Poom having to interfere. Mart Poom was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ainar Kork showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 20 minute of play. JK raamatuid.ee were furious when Nestor Urbieta was red carded, 24 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 23 minutes into the game, one of JK raamatuid.ee:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Uudo Vähe struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Allan Jomm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vila. 33 minutes into the match, Vila's goal looked a bit too open when Taavet Rannik came free, but Mart Poom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Endel Raud charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Endel Raud the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Vilberg in the 40th minute of play forced JK raamatuid.ee's goalkeeper Allan Jomm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lembit Nurmela took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Allan Jomm. Allan Jomm dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bruno Vilberg to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Elmu Treimann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute of the match Ainar Kork shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mart Poom showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alex Kalde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Allan Jomm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Taavet Rannik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mart Poom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Bruno Vilberg fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 1-4 became the score in the 66th minute when Bruno Vilberg elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Mart Poom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taavet Rannik in the 71st minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Bruno Vilberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Allan Jomm, 1-5. After 79 minutes, Bruno Vilberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vila and the JK raamatuid.ee players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of JK raamatuid.ee booed when Vila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Kalde didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute Evald Laaneloog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mart Poom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th minute, Bruno Vilberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vila fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-6. With a little luck, JK raamatuid.ee's Allan Jomm got control of the ball when Bruno Vilberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lembit Nurmela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Allan Jomm made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded Vila left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than JK raamatuid.ee.
