The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mart Poom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vello Vitt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 3rd minute, Elari Lõoke left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Armageddon fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Vila's Mart Poom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elari Lõoke in the 6th minute of play. Vila's Mart Poom proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Vila from getting a goal against them. Bruno Vilberg kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Metsalu in the 11th minute of play forced Vila's goalkeeper Mart Poom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bruno Vilberg in the 13th minute of play forced Armageddon's goalkeeper Peeter Nurk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lembit Nurmela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Peeter Nurk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peeter Nurk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Vilberg in the 25th minute of the match. After 26 played minutes Armageddon got a freekick which was hit by Taavi Oolo. 27 minutes into the match, Vila's Uudo Vähe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Peeter Nurk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Elari Lõoke took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Mart Poom to make any attempt to save it. Mart Poom made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Elari Lõoke sent off a good shot on target. After 39 played minutes Vila got a freekick which was hit by Aare Hovi. Mart Poom made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elari Lõoke in the 40th minute. Vello Vitt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elari Lõoke stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mart Poom came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Armageddon's Travis Trump. But to his dismay, Travis Trump quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After a rather tough play, Vila's Aare Hovi got a free kick in the 56th minute. When Sergo Lepp fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vila's protests and gave Sergo Lepp a yellow card for diving instead. Sergo Lepp kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Armageddon's Vello Vitt couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 58th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Vila. Vallo Van Buuren made in the 63rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Kasimir Karu immediately put the ball in play. Armageddon's Peeter Nurk proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Armageddon from getting a goal against them. In the 67th minute, Vello Vitt made a precise shot to the right of Mart Poom. Vila's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 72nd minute, Uudo Vähe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elari Lõoke might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mart Poom. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elari Lõoke ran back to his position shaking his head. If Vello Vitt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mart Poom showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vello Vitt, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. If Raul Metsalu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Vila's goal looked a bit too open when Travis Trump came free, but Mart Poom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Vila players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Armageddon.
