The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pembroke McPaul during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pembroke McPaul hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After 5 minutes, Peadair Dempsey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uí Fergusa and the Chelsea Headhunters players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Uí Fergusa getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Peadair Dempsey hit a great ball. Bivadi McJohnny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexander Finlay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th match minute, Chelsea Headhunters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry McCuish to maneuver through the defense. Pembroke McPaul got his second yellow card in the match during the 10th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 11th minute, Pembroke McPaul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bivadi McJohnny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harry McBain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Uí Fergusa's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Farquharson came free, but Bivadi McJohnny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Harry McCuish kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After 22 played minutes Uí Fergusa got a freekick which was hit by Dugan Doherty. After a rather tough play, Uí Fergusa's Dugan Doherty got a free kick in the 24th minute. Bivadi McJohnny didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gregor Simpson went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Uí Fergusa booed when Chelsea Headhunters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ian Fowler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Douglas Jamieson hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Uí Fergusa's goalkeeper Bivadi McJohnny, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gregor Simpson struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Bivadi McJohnny didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chelsea Headhunters. Peadair Dempsey got his second yellow card in the match during the 40th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Peadair Dempsey kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Bivadi McJohnny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Finlay in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute of the match Gregor Simpson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bivadi McJohnny skillfully saved the ball. After the first half Chelsea Headhunters were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

53 minutes into the match, Uí Fergusa's goalkeeper Bivadi McJohnny had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gregor Simpson. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Harry McCuish during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Chelsea Headhunters getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Harry McCuish hit a great ball. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Chelsea Headhunters! In the 59th minute there was a penalty for Uí Fergusa. Tathan Harkin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Davie McQuaire. 1-1. Alexander Finlay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Munro Wood could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Bivadi McJohnny made a huge save. If Bradaigh Silke had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricard Kirby kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dugan Doherty in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Davie McQuaire prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Douglas Jamieson kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. With a little luck, Uí Fergusa's Bivadi McJohnny got control of the ball when Munro Wood tried to sneak it across the goal line. Davie McQuaire took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dugan Doherty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 98th minute of the match, Munro Wood got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bivadi McJohnny was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Chelsea Headhunters were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Uí Fergusa's much stronger midfield.
