Spectators: 195 (Terracing: 147, Seating: 45, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Barin Holt started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes Uí Fergusa got a freekick which was hit by Bradaigh Silke. After 5 minutes, Barin Holt made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Uí Fergusa's Bivadi McJohnny tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 11 minutes into the match, Uí Fergusa's Pembroke McPaul sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Todd Murphy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Prunty in the 13th minute of play forced Uí Fergusa's goalkeeper Bivadi McJohnny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferdia McPhil struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Todd Murphy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uí Fergusa. A collision led to St. James Gate F.C. getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Brenna McWilliam hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dugan Doherty in the 21st minute of play forced St. James Gate F.C.'s goalkeeper Todd Murphy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Todd Murphy successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barin Holt in the 26th minute of play forced Uí Fergusa's goalkeeper Bivadi McJohnny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute St. James Gate F.C. were awarded a corner. Bodibeua Lester went to the cornerflag to take it. St. James Gate F.C.'s Bodibeua Lester was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bivadi McJohnny in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Pembroke McPaul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Todd Murphy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th match minute, St. James Gate F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barin Holt to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute, Ferdia McPhil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brenna McWilliam took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bivadi McJohnny. Bivadi McJohnny dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. St. James Gate F.C.'s Todd Murphy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pembroke McPaul in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bradaigh Silke made a kick off. Barin Holt in the 51stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bivadi McJohnny, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Uí Fergusa's Bivadi McJohnny proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Uí Fergusa from getting a goal against them. In the 57th minute of the match St. James Gate F.C. got a corner. Uí Fergusa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bodibeua Lester ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 60 played minutes Uí Fergusa got a freekick which was hit by Dugan Doherty. Bivadi McJohnny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berchan Gollogley in the 62nd minute of play. Roland Prunty recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ferdia McPhil was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 68 minutes had been played. A collision led to Uí Fergusa getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Ferdia McPhil hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, Uí Fergusa's goalkeeper Bivadi McJohnny had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Beckett Costello. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Prunty in the 74th minute of play forced Uí Fergusa's goalkeeper Bivadi McJohnny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Barin Holt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bivadi McJohnny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Prunty, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Bivadi McJohnny was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Roland Prunty capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Roland Prunty really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. After 87 minutes of play, St. James Gate F.C.'s Barin Holt made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bivadi McJohnny was left in no man's land by his defense there! Barin Holt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Bivadi McJohnny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Uí Fergusa booed when St. James Gate F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Finbar Martyn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beckett Costello's late challenge caught a Uí Fergusa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Beckett Costello helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Uí Fergusa booed when St. James Gate F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Beckett Costello didn't get a good kick on the ball.
