Davie McQuaire took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dugan Doherty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute, Douglas Jamieson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute of the match Peadair Dempsey shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Davie McQuaire showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Uí Fergusa's Bivadi McJohnny played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Munro Wood in the 22nd minute of play. Bannon Gollogley kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, one of Chelsea Headhunters:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chelsea Headhunters. Bivadi McJohnny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Munro Wood, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Dugan Doherty made a precise shot to the right of Davie McQuaire. Chelsea Headhunters's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Davie McQuaire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dugan Doherty, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. After having played for 42 minutes, Bradaigh Silke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uí Fergusa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bradaigh Silke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bradaigh Silke in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Davie McQuaire saved Chelsea Headhunters from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Gregor Simpson made the kick off in the second half. Alexander Finlay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bivadi McJohnny having to interfere. In the 60th minute Pembroke McPaul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davie McQuaire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Uí Fergusa's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Finlay came free, but Bivadi McJohnny reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Bradaigh Silke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uí Fergusa's supporters rose to their feet, but Bradaigh Silke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Davie McQuaire breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Davie McQuaire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dugan Doherty in the 68th minute of play. The supporters of Uí Fergusa booed when Chelsea Headhunters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Farquharson didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute, Bradaigh Silke left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uí Fergusa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 75th minute Bradaigh Silke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Davie McQuaire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Munro Wood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Bivadi McJohnny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chelsea Headhunters's goalkeeper Davie McQuaire, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
