Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bradaigh Silke kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roland Prunty in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bivadi McJohnny saved Uí Fergusa from getting behind. 9 minutes into the game, Roland Prunty recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bivadi McJohnny. Roland Prunty showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 12th minute of the match, Roland Prunty tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bivadi McJohnny saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Barin Holt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Bivadi McJohnny when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Todd Murphy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bradaigh Silke's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute, Bradaigh Silke left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uí Fergusa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Bivadi McJohnny made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Barin Holt sent off a good shot on target. Bivadi McJohnny didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 22nd minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. 25 minutes into the match, Uí Fergusa's goalkeeper Bivadi McJohnny had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Barin Holt. With his leg Bivadi McJohnny managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when St. James Gate F.C.'s Barin Holt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 26 minutes, Dugan Doherty managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uí Fergusa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dugan Doherty was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bivadi McJohnny made an important save on a dangerous shot by Barin Holt in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute, Dugan Doherty hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Uí Fergusa getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Pembroke McPaul hit a great ball. In the 38th minute of the match, Roland Prunty tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bivadi McJohnny saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 39 minutes, Teagan Hughes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uí Fergusa and the St. James Gate F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th minute, Teagan Hughes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Barin Holt came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the St. James Gate F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barin Holt couldn't finish the play. Roland Prunty recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Barin Holt, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 47 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Bivadi McJohnny was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Barin Holt made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Prunty in the 51st minute of play forced Uí Fergusa's goalkeeper Bivadi McJohnny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Berchan Gollogley came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the St. James Gate F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Berchan Gollogley couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Uí Fergusa getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Pat McLian hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, St. James Gate F.C.'s Barin Holt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bivadi McJohnny narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Roland Prunty ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bivadi McJohnny was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Bivadi McJohnny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Prunty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bivadi McJohnny showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barin Holt in the 70th minute of the match. Barin Holt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pembroke McPaul during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 79th match minute, Uí Fergusa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pembroke McPaul to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute Roland Prunty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bivadi McJohnny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barin Holt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Bivadi McJohnny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barin Holt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Roland Prunty made a precise shot to the right of Bivadi McJohnny. Uí Fergusa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. St. James Gate F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
