Zawisza Bydgoszcz's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Tam Clerk scored to the left of an out of position Brain Holt, making the score, 1-0. In the 13th match minute, Zawisza Bydgoszcz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pembroke Cooney to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Tam Clerk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lord of the Wings's supporters rose to their feet, but Tam Clerk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brain Holt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 26 played minutes Lord of the Wings got a freekick which was hit by Peter Moore. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Harold Malcolmson during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tadhg Walker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alisdair Ferries having to make a save. Tam Clerk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brain Holt having to interfere. Alisdair Ferries made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadhg Walker in the 46th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lord of the Wings's Edmond Mason got a free kick in the 47th minute.

In the 52nd minute Finlay Falconer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brain Holt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Brenden Ramsey during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 54th match minute, Zawisza Bydgoszcz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brenden Ramsey to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Zawisza Bydgoszcz getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Brenden Ramsey hit a great ball. Brain Holt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tam Clerk in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Zawisza Bydgoszcz's Brenden Ramsey seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Brenden Ramsey the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Zawisza Bydgoszcz protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Brenden Ramsey had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 68th minute of the game. One of Zawisza Bydgoszcz:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lord of the Wings:s goal. If Byrne Doyle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Finlay Falconer scored 3-1 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Brain Holt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Zawisza Bydgoszcz getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Loughlin Hunt hit a great ball. Tam Clerk took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brain Holt. Brain Holt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Lord of the Wings had won after a very even match.
