Kenneth McGilbert came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by 1948 MKS's Cianán McDonald. But to his dismay, Cianán McDonald quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Kenneth McGilbert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dawayne McJohnny, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Kenneth McGilbert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blanche Glen Crowe in the 9th minute of play. Gavião Kyikatejê's Kenneth McGilbert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dawayne McJohnny in the 11th minute of play. Kenneth McGilbert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brandon Cassin in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Dawayne McJohnny had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kenneth McGilbert. Gavião Kyikatejê's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dawayne McJohnny was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Kenneth McGilbert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blanche Glen Crowe in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Austin Deery had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kenneth McGilbert. Gavião Kyikatejê's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Austin Deery was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Dawayne McJohnny scored 0-5 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kenneth McGilbert, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kenneth McGilbert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dawayne McJohnny, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 39 minutes into the game, Jordan Robison was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gavião Kyikatejê's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 1948 MKS the free kick. The supporters of 1948 MKS booed when Gavião Kyikatejê was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jordan Robison didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kenneth McGilbert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beccan McPaul, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, Blanche Glen Crowe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kenneth McGilbert. Gavião Kyikatejê's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Blanche Glen Crowe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. In the 47th minute Blanche Glen Crowe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth McGilbert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gregor Nelson was the one to do the kick off. Kenneth McGilbert made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Austin Deery sent off a good shot on target. Kenneth McGilbert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dawayne McJohnny in the 58th minute of the match. Kenneth McGilbert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dawayne McJohnny, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Gavião Kyikatejê's goalkeeper Kenneth McGilbert had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cianán McDonald. In the 64th minute, 1948 MKS's Austin Deery ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kenneth McGilbert. Kenneth McGilbert yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. 67 minutes into the match, Gavião Kyikatejê's goal looked a bit too open when Austin Deery came free, but Kenneth McGilbert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Austin Deery kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Kenneth McGilbert. That made the score 0-9 in the 78 minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, 1948 MKS's Austin Deery nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kenneth McGilbert made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-10. Kenneth McGilbert made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Austin Deery sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dawayne McJohnny in the 91st minute of play forced Gavião Kyikatejê's goalkeeper Kenneth McGilbert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kenneth McGilbert came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by 1948 MKS's Blanche Glen Crowe. But to his dismay, Blanche Glen Crowe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-12. The Gavião Kyikatejê fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. 1948 MKS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
