Kenneth McGilbert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Austin Deery, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. The supporters of 1948 MKS booed when Gavião Kyikatejê was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward McIndoe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gavião Kyikatejê's Kenneth McGilbert proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Gavião Kyikatejê from getting a goal against them. Robert McCready could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Kenneth McGilbert made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gregor Nelson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Dawayne McJohnny notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Gavião Kyikatejê's Kenneth McGilbert. Kenneth McGilbert was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 57th minute, Austin Deery made a precise shot to the right of Kenneth McGilbert.
