Aadil Al Harban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bento Jayakesuma in the 6th minute of play. Aman Pintar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khalaf Kakoli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Golden Tigers's Aadil Al Harban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cliff Manaf in the 14th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, Ruud van Nistelrooij notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Forever Young's Aman Pintar. Aman Pintar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lukita Sialagan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cliff Manaf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Aadil Al Harban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bambang Pedersen hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Edrees Al Najdi kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After 28 minutes of play, Golden Tigers's Ruud van Nistelrooij made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aman Pintar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edrees Al Najdi struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Aman Pintar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Golden Tigers. 33 minutes into the match, Forever Young's goal looked a bit too open when Edrees Al Najdi came free, but Aman Pintar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Forever Young's Aman Pintar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maitham Al Khars in the 36th minute of play. Bento Jayakesuma kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. When Naem Al Khaled came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Golden Tigers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Naem Al Khaled couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute Ruud van Nistelrooij shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aman Pintar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jockie Fatary during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Forever Young's Aman Pintar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khalaf Kakoli in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Golden Tigers were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cliff Manaf to strike the kick off in the second half. Cliff Manaf kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute, Jockie Fatary hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Naem Al Khaled's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aman Pintar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, one of Forever Young:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Aadil Al Harban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cliff Manaf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 61 played minutes Golden Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Edrees Al Najdi. 62 minutes into the match, Jonathan Iqbal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aadil Al Harban. Golden Tigers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonathan Iqbal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Edrees Al Najdi scored 1-4 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aman Pintar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Forever Young's Aman Pintar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edrees Al Najdi in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Iqbal in the 78th minute of play forced Golden Tigers's goalkeeper Aadil Al Harban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aadil Al Harban came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Forever Young's Jonathan Iqbal. But to his dismay, Jonathan Iqbal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4. Aman Pintar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edrees Al Najdi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute, Golden Tigers's Edrees Al Najdi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. John Stockton kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Aman Pintar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdul Rahman Al Youha in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 97th minute, Jonathan Iqbal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aadil Al Harban was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-5. Golden Tigers played a much better game than Forever Young and deserved their victory. The Forever Young players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
