The Azzurri FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giuseppe Verdi should have stopped the shot. Anton Fatah fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giuseppe Verdi having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Hoyt Combs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When M. Ramdhan Sianturi fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RED SHARK FC's protests and gave M. Ramdhan Sianturi a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 played minutes RED SHARK FC got a freekick which was hit by M. Ramdhan Sianturi. If Hoyt Combs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Azzurri FC's Hiram Compton in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye RED SHARK FC's goalie prevented a goal. Norris Fuentes hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Narciso Emeterio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hiram Compton, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leo Musadeq stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Musadeq in the 53rd minute of play forced Azzurri FC's goalkeeper Giuseppe Verdi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Azzurri FC's zone, M. Ramdhan Sianturi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giuseppe Verdi came out of the goal and M. Ramdhan Sianturi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Totò Clemente during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Azzurri FC's Totò Clemente got a free kick in the 56th minute. Giuseppe Verdi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Musadeq in the 70th minute of play. Norris Fuentes hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Deangelo Loiselle hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Azzurri FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented RED SHARK FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
