Spectators: 187 (Terracing: 141, Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) Azzurri FC's Dusty Kimball started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hoyt Combs in the 3rd minute of play forced Atletico Beirut's goalkeeper Ats Rattas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 5 played minutes Azzurri FC got a freekick which was hit by Cornelius Hillman. In the 8th match minute, Atletico Beirut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yazid Abdul Hakim to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute of the match Hiram Compton sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ats Rattas skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Samuel Casgrain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Azzurri FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Samuel Casgrain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ats Rattas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Samuel Casgrain who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Ats Rattas when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cornelius Hillman got free with Ats Rattas in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 19 minutes of play, Azzurri FC's Samuel Casgrain made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ats Rattas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ats Rattas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hoyt Combs in the 22nd minute of play. Ats Rattas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Samuel Casgrain, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Ats Rattas was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Hoyt Combs capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hoyt Combs really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Dusty Kimballs short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Ats Rattas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 35 minutes into the match, Hoyt Combs dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ats Rattas, 3-0. In the 38th minute Hiram Compton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ats Rattas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 38 minutes Atletico Beirut's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hiram Compton who took care of the corner kick. Samuel Casgrain was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 43 minutes into the match, Hoyt Combs dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ats Rattas, 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Diya Abou Zaki to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, one of Atletico Beirut:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ats Rattas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Casgrain in the 64th minute of play. Ats Rattas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hoyt Combs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute, Jabbar Jabalah hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute, Hiram Compton made a precise shot to the right of Ats Rattas. Atletico Beirut's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Ats Rattas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hoyt Combs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute Cornelius Hillman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ats Rattas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute, Aatif Abdul Khaliq hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Atletico Beirut's goal looked a bit too open when Hoyt Combs came free, but Ats Rattas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hiram Compton scored 8-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ats Rattas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ats Rattas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dusty Kimball, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Ats Rattas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hiram Compton in the 90th minute of play. Hiram Compton charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hiram Compton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 91st minute, Hiram Compton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Azzurri FC had played much better football throughout.
