Aman Pintar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaber Al Ateqi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 7th minute Yoppie Kartolo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Younis Al Harban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Faleh Al Saleh had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aman Pintar. Forever Young's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Faleh Al Saleh was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Aman Pintar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shaban Al Motaire, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 minutes Forever Young's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ebrahem Al Qatam who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Al-Ahli's corner Ebrahem Al Qatam fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Aman Pintar quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bento Jayakesuma in the 21st minute of play forced Al-Ahli's goalkeeper Younis Al Harban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Iqbal charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Iqbal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonathan Iqbal hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Jaber Al Ateqi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Aman Pintar skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Jaber Al Ateqi took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Aman Pintar to make any attempt to save it. The audience was convinced that Cliff Manaf's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Younis Al Harban was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Younis Al Harban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yoppie Kartolo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute Ricky Khasali shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Younis Al Harban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Cliff Manaf ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Younis Al Harban was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Younis Al Harban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cliff Manaf, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

After 50 minutes, Ricky Khasali mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Forever Young and the Al-Ahli players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Forever Young's Ricky Khasali got a free kick in the 50th minute. Younis Al Harban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cliff Manaf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Younis Al Harban was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cliff Manaf showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 54 minute of play. Aman Pintar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shaban Al Motaire, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Younis Al Harban didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cliff Manaf went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. In the 65th minute Yoppie Kartolo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Younis Al Harban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaber Al Ateqi kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 72nd match minute, Forever Young was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bento Jayakesuma to maneuver through the defense. Younis Al Harban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cliff Manaf, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Cliff Manaf reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Younis Al Harban. The goal made the score 2-4. Younis Al Harban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricky Khasali in the 82nd minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Al-Ahli's goal looked a bit too open when Ricky Khasali came free, but Younis Al Harban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shaban Al Motaire charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shaban Al Motaire the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ricky Khasali hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 91 minutes into the game, one of Forever Young:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Faleh Al Saleh during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Forever Young booed when Al-Ahli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faleh Al Saleh didn't get a good kick on the ball. 97 minutes into the game, Cliff Manaf recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Younis Al Harban. Cliff Manaf showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5. The Forever Young supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Forever Young would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
