When Chop Chop F.C.'s José Bandeira in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Líbano's goalie prevented a goal. In the 16th minute Madjid Raï shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bassam El Makhtoub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bassam El Makhtoub stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Madjid Raï's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Madjid Raï in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bassam El Makhtoub prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Chop Chop F.C.'s Madjid Raï in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Líbano's goalie prevented a goal. With an all-out effort, Líbano's El Otman threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wajid Abdul Baqi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abdul Halim Aban in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg El Otman saved Chop Chop F.C. from getting behind. 36 minutes into the match, Líbano's goal looked a bit too open when Mamaar Chedda came free, but Bassam El Makhtoub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chop Chop F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Krim Beloufa in the 38th minute. Hamid Zarabi was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. José Bandeira might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bassam El Makhtoub. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. José Bandeira ran back to his position shaking his head. Bassam El Makhtoub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Krim Beloufa in the 41st minute of play. When Chaba Hamid fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chop Chop F.C.'s protests and gave Chaba Hamid a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Líbano booed when Chop Chop F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chaba Hamid didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Madjid Raï to strike the kick off in the second half. Bassam El Makhtoub was a little too slow when Mamaar Chedda got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-1. 57 minutes into the match, Líbano's goalkeeper Bassam El Makhtoub had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Madjid Raï. Bassam El Makhtoub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdelmalek Abdelghani in the 62nd minute of play. Wajid Abdul Baqi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for El Otman. Chop Chop F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 68th minute Abdul Halim Aban shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but El Otman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Madjid Raï's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Bassam El Makhtoub skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 82 minutes, Madjid Raï made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Líbano's Bassam El Makhtoub tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Chop Chop F.C. made a substitution. Fodil Bouzid replaced Abdelmalek Abdelghani. After 88 minutes, Jalal Rajab mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Líbano and the Chop Chop F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Abdul Halim Aban scored 1-2 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of El Otman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
