In the 3rdth minute of the game Sammy Kosgei who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Adab FC's Nouredine Mimoun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nouredine Mimoun was a little too slow when Ogembo Waithaka got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 9th minute, Abd al-Asis Lacen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Korir was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Rothwell Park's Wilson Korir played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abd al-Asis Lacen in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Rothwell Park's goal looked a bit too open when Abd al-Asis Lacen came free, but Wilson Korir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nouredine Mimoun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sammy Kosgei, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Zablon Maish's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nouredine Mimoun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Nouredine Mimoun was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Talib Hassan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Talib Hassan really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Talib Hassan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Nouredine Mimoun when he managed to save the team from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

55 minutes had been played when some careless play by Adab FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Abcdefghijklmno Abcdefghijklmnopqrst was slow to take the kick. During this time Rothwell Park's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Rothwell Park's corner Talib Hassan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nouredine Mimoun quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Talib Hassan in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nouredine Mimoun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 59 minutes into the match, Rothwell Park's Christopher Limo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nouredine Mimoun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Talib Hassan in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nouredine Mimoun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sammy Kosgei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adab FC made a substitution. Rafik Reda Madouni replaced Chaba Larbi. Adab FC's Leon Benhamou was substituted for Hamid Mimoun. Adab FC's Salim Djura was substituted for François Ahmed. Kiran Rop kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. If Abd al-Asis Lacen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute Ogembo Waithaka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nouredine Mimoun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nouredine Mimoun stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Talib Hassan's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Wilson Korir made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ahmed Tahar in the 81st minute. Ogembo Waithaka's late challenge caught a Adab FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ogembo Waithaka helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Rothwell Park's Ogembo Waithaka got a free kick in the 81st minute. Wilson Korir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abd al-Asis Lacen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th match minute, Adab FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nadir Bencherif to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Talib Hassan in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nouredine Mimoun saved Adab FC from getting behind. Rothwell Park's Ogembo Waithaka got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Talib Hassan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rothwell Park's supporters rose to their feet, but Talib Hassan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nouredine Mimoun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rothwell Park were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Adab FC for a fine match.
