Spectators: 197 (Terracing: 149, Seating: 45, VIP seats: 3) In the 4th minute Naser Awat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Korir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilson Korir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naser Awat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Rothwell Park booed when Líbano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wajid Abdul Baqi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 17 played minutes Rothwell Park got a freekick which was hit by Ogembo Waithaka. 20 minutes into the game, Christopher Limo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rothwell Park's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Líbano the free kick. Christopher Limo kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zablon Maish in the 22nd minute of play forced Líbano's goalkeeper Bassam El Makhtoub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bassam El Makhtoub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Talib Hassan in the 30th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abdul Halim Aban in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Korir prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Naser Awat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Wilson Korir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Abdul Halim Aban got free with Wilson Korir in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. John Onyii hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Wilson Korir was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Abdul Halim Aban. In the 43rd minute of the match, Abdul Halim Aban tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wilson Korir saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Rothwell Park's zone, Abdul Halim Aban stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Korir came out of the goal and Abdul Halim Aban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rothwell Park's Dennis Mwaura was substituted for Christopher Limo. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abdul Halim Aban to strike the kick off in the second half. Wilson Korir didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abdul Halim Aban went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 58 minutes into the game, Wassim Imad cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Wilson Korir was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Abdul Jabbar Yazan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Korir having to interfere. A collision led to Líbano getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Wajid Abdul Baqi hit a great ball. John Onyii got his second yellow card in the match during the 85th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 86th match minute, Rothwell Park was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Onyii to maneuver through the defense. Naser Awat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Wilson Korir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the game, Líbano's Wassim Imad nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Korir made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Abdul Jabbar Yazan scored 7-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Korir, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Líbano players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
