Wassim Suoud kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. With a little luck, Líbano's Bassam El Makhtoub got control of the ball when Azam Chew tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 6th minute of the match Manchester United got a corner. In the 9thth minute of the game Azam Chew who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Líbano's Bassam El Makhtoub was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Azam Chew took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Bassam El Makhtoub to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Líbano's zone, Azli Vijiaratnam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bassam El Makhtoub came out of the goal and Azli Vijiaratnam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bassam El Makhtoub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Azli Vijiaratnam in the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Azli Vijiaratnam in the 22nd minute of play forced Líbano's goalkeeper Bassam El Makhtoub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdul Halim Aban in the 39th minute of play forced Manchester United's goalkeeper Ali Artuner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zak Koh during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Líbano reached it. Abdul Jabbar Yazan might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ali Artuner. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abdul Jabbar Yazan ran back to his position shaking his head. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abdul Halim Aban to strike the kick off in the second half. Abdul Jabbar Yazan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 53rd minute, Zak Koh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute, Naser Awat made a precise shot to the right of Ali Artuner. Manchester United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Bassam El Makhtoub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Azam Chew in the 65th minute of play. Bassam El Makhtoub showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Azli Vijiaratnam, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Manchester United's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
