Owen Purcell hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Real Mollucas's goal looked a bit too open when Owen Purcell came free, but Mario Sugiono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mario Sahuleka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mario Sahuleka in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brice Leach saved Varennes from getting behind. Mario Sahuleka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Brice Leach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brice Leach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Sahuleka in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 26th match minute, Varennes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Irving Dugan to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, Real Mollucas's goal looked a bit too open when Ellsworth Lindsay came free, but Mario Sugiono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Real Mollucas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Randell McCullough was slow to take the kick. During this time Varennes's players had a chance to rest. Mario Sugiono made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ellsworth Lindsay in the 40th minute. After a rather tough play, Real Mollucas's Nickolous Yarman got a free kick in the 41st minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ellsworth Lindsay stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Bono Suparmaji who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Varennes's Brice Leach was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Mario Sahuleka came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Real Mollucas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Sahuleka couldn't finish the play. In the 57th match minute, Varennes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felicien Mooney to maneuver through the defense. Mario Sahuleka in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Brice Leach, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Mario Sahuleka kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 61stth minute. Though ot was a great shot Varennes's keeper Brice Leach was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. 64 minutes into the match, Irving Dugan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mario Sugiono. Real Mollucas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Irving Dugan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 71 minutes into the match, Varennes's goalkeeper Brice Leach had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mario Sahuleka. 71 minutes into the game, Mario Sahuleka recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Brice Leach. Mario Sahuleka showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Mario Sahuleka came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Brice Leach could save by the left post. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Ellsworth Lindsay sped through Real Mollucas's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mario Sugiono. Real Mollucas's Mario Sugiono played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ellsworth Lindsay in the 82nd minute of play. After 82 played minutes Real Mollucas got a freekick which was hit by Jayeng Malaiholo. In the 85th minute, Ellsworth Lindsay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the match, Real Mollucas's goal looked a bit too open when Ellsworth Lindsay came free, but Mario Sugiono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Varennes's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Randell McCullough in the 89th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Real Mollucas's goalie and right to Gale Laliberté. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Real Mollucas's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Mario Sugiono showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Owen Purcell, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Mario Sugiono made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ellsworth Lindsay in the 94th minute of play. When Jayeng Malaiholo fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Mollucas's protests and gave Jayeng Malaiholo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th match minute, Real Mollucas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jayeng Malaiholo to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the Real Mollucas players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Varennes.
