Tomas Donovan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Arantes, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jerrod Staples during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 8th minute, Jerrod Staples hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orval Crow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ammar Aziza fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Symba's protests and gave Ammar Aziza a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 played minutes, Flames FC's Micheal Burnham shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Heithem Kaâbi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Flames FC reached it. Heithem Kaâbi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orval Crow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 minutes, Chaouki Loussayef mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Symba and the Flames FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Flames FC booed when Symba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chaouki Loussayef didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Norbert Garland took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Heithem Kaâbi to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Symba's Mohamed Miaâdi got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 45th play minute Horace Vaughn came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Heithem Kaâbi. 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The supporters of Flames FC booed when Symba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chaouki Loussayef didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ammar Aziza hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. A collision led to Symba getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Ammar Aziza hit a great ball. Heithem Kaâbi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Norbert Garland's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. In the 61st minute, Horace Vaughn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 90 played minutes Symba got a freekick which was hit by Mohamed Miaâdi. In the 92nd minute, Valère Flowers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Donovan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mohamed Miaâdi in the 93rd minute. When Kais Mokadem fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Symba's protests and gave Kais Mokadem a yellow card for diving instead.
