Vaughn Ledbetter scored 1-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Widyawan Gustav, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 11th match minute, BuanaRaya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iswadi Monginsidi to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute, Persepolis F.C.'s Joel Beltran dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. BuanaRaya's Widyawan Gustav played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Beltran in the 17th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, BuanaRaya's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Plante came free, but Widyawan Gustav reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Djaduk Sophian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Widyawan Gustav was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Vincent Winkler. Vaughn Ledbetter took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Widyawan Gustav. Widyawan Gustav dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 29th minute, Joel Beltran reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Widyawan Gustav. The goal made the score 4-1. A collision led to BuanaRaya getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Leo Yustisio hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in BuanaRaya's zone, Vaughn Ledbetter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Widyawan Gustav came out of the goal and Vaughn Ledbetter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th minute Iswadi Monginsidi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolphe Staley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Topan Sucipto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BuanaRaya fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. 41 minutes into the game, Thomas Muttaqien was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BuanaRaya's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Persepolis F.C. the free kick. After a rather tough play, BuanaRaya's Thomas Muttaqien got a free kick in the 41st minute. Vaughn Ledbetter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-2 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rolly Prabowo to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Persepolis F.C. getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Josue Hillman hit a great ball. Widyawan Gustav showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vaughn Ledbetter, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute, Vaughn Ledbetter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Persepolis F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. A hard shot by Iswadi Monginsidi from long distance, 61 minutes into the match, got Adolphe Staley's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Rolly Prabowo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Adolphe Staley made a huge save. Claudio Plante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Tim Caron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Widyawan Gustav took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Beltran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iswadi Monginsidi kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Topan Sucipto got free with Adolphe Staley in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rolly Prabowos short, quick shot in the 72ndth minute got Adolphe Staley to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 73rd match minute, Persepolis F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Plante to maneuver through the defense. Iswadi Monginsidi kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Joel Beltran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Widyawan Gustav having to make a save. Widyawan Gustav was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
