Jermaine Preston might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edmond Nasro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After 45 minutes, Safy Bahari mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Phenomenals FC and the Fenerbahçe S.K. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Safy Bahari hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Marin White didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 49th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

A collision led to Phenomenals FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Cheb Hemdani hit a great ball. Edmond Nasro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Louie Théberge in the 78th minute. Jermaine Preston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmond Nasro having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Yahia Zenia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marin White. Fenerbahçe S.K.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yahia Zenia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 90 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe S.K.'s goal looked a bit too open when Mehdi Ahmed came free, but Marin White reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Gilles Schumacher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Safy Bahari took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marin White. Fenerbahçe S.K.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marin White showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yahia Zenia, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Phenomenals FC had played much better football throughout.
