The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, NFH Family United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sarb Siong to maneuver through the defense. Gerard Koh made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Honestra Haridinata sent off a good shot on target. In the 7th minute Firdauz Choy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wahab Guritno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honestra Haridinata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Odod Munggaran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the match, Honestra Haridinata dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gerard Koh, 1-0. Freddy Suharyadi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 20 minutes into the match, NFH Family United's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Suharyadi came free, but Gerard Koh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Firdauz Choy in the 21st minute of play forced ROYALFOX FC's goalkeeper Wahab Guritno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, ROYALFOX FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sean Soon came free, but Wahab Guritno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in NFH Family United's zone, Odod Munggaran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerard Koh came out of the goal and Odod Munggaran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wahab Guritno came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by NFH Family United's Sean Soon. But to his dismay, Sean Soon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Suharyadi in the 40th minute of play forced NFH Family United's goalkeeper Gerard Koh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ROYALFOX FC's Wahab Guritno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Firdauz Choy in the 41st minute of play. NFH Family United's Gerard Koh proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save NFH Family United from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the NFH Family United defense, Honestra Haridinata kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gerard Koh. The NFH Family United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerard Koh should have stopped the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sarb Chuan was the one to do the kick off. Sarb Chuan scored 2-3 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wahab Guritno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Wahab Guritno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sean Soon in the 59th minute of the match. NFH Family United's Gerard Koh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Odod Munggaran in the 67th minute of play. After 69 played minutes ROYALFOX FC got a freekick which was hit by Odod Munggaran. Wahab Guritno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sean Soon in the 70th minute of play. Wahab Guritno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamir Ching, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute Freddy Suharyadi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerard Koh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wahab Guritno was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Firdauz Choy showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-4 in the 76 minute of play. Sarb Chuan in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wahab Guritno, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 88th minute, NFH Family United's Firdauz Choy dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. A collision led to ROYALFOX FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Freddy Suharyadi hit a great ball. 94 minutes into the game, Syauqi Yarangga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ROYALFOX FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NFH Family United the free kick. Syauqi Yarangga hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. NFH Family United's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
