Firdauz Choy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. NFH Family United's Gerard Koh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zalán Szántai in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Rudy Tioe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. NFH Family United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Glintung FC the free kick. After 21 played minutes NFH Family United got a freekick which was hit by Rudy Tioe. NFH Family United's Gerard Koh proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save NFH Family United from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Glintung FC's Hari Potter slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gerard Koh. That made the score 1-0 after 22 minutes of play. Pendekar Jago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sean Soon in the 25th minute of the match. Gerard Koh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pepep Hutasoit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute of the match, Aming Syarifudin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gerard Koh saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Glintung FC's Zalán Szántai was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 44th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The supporters of Glintung FC booed when NFH Family United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clive Dryburgh didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hari Potter made a kick off. Gerard Koh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hari Potter, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. The audience was convinced that Hari Potter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerard Koh was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Hamir Ching kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Hari Potter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gerard Koh read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Leonard Hendrawan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sarb Siong hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Sarb Siong kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 77 minutes into the game, Leonard Hendrawan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Gerard Koh was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bakul Baksø in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerard Koh prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 86th match minute, NFH Family United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Steven Au to maneuver through the defense. Gerard Koh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bakul Baksø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Firdauz Choy struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Pendekar Jago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NFH Family United. Zalán Szántai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerard Koh having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Glintung FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while NFH Family United had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
