The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hugo Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Abubakar in the 4th minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Ballkam Sportsklubb's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Mathiassen came free, but Odin Saue reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to FRANK getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Roald Engebakken hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Ballkam Sportsklubb's Lars Lax slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hugo Moraes. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. 14 minutes into the match, Ballkam Sportsklubb's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Mathiassen came free, but Odin Saue reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hugo Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Blackhurst, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ballkam Sportsklubb were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after FRANK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Elvio Victoro took the corner. Avram Teodorescu made a great header on Ballkam Sportsklubb's corner, it was just that FRANK's Hugo Moraes managed to reach the ball for a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Ola Børseth managed to get in a good position for a shot. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th minute, Stefan Mathiassen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hugo Moraes made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Vincent Abubakar sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ola Børseth stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, FRANK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roald Engebakken to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute Vincent Abubakar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefan Mathiassen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Odin Saue made a huge save. Ballkam Sportsklubb's Odin Saue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roald Engebakken in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Lax in the 64th minute of play forced FRANK's goalkeeper Hugo Moraes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
